Northern Industrial Manufacturing Corporation prides itself in giving back to the community that continually gives to us. Along with the numerous charities and foundations that Northern is proud to support, we also encourage our employees to take one day a year to go out and volunteer at a charity of their choosing, and as an incentive they will receive a full day of pay to make it possible for them to reach out within their community.

Pockets Full of Sunshine

Northern has been a proud supporter of Pockets Full of Sunshine since 2015. A nonprofit organization that strives to answer the question, “What can my child who is an adult with disabilities do after school is over?” Pockets Full of Sunshine aims to make that answer “anything they dream of.”

Northern has often been a participant in the PFS Clay Shoot, and is always sure to send support for the annual event Fun in the Sun for Everyone where families that have children or adults with disabilities can come out for a day of fun at the beach and with the help of many generous volunteers can learn to surf, play in the sand, and have that extra helping hand so that the whole family can have fun at the beach no matter what.

Detroit Rescue Mission

The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries has embarked upon its 110th year of continued service providing food, shelter and services to intervene where homelessness and substance addiction occur.

The staff of Northern Industrial Manufacturing sponsors an annual event where children who otherwise would not have presents to open for Christmas can come and pick out toys from a selection of donations from many volunteers.
